I am excited about the learning opportunities we will have this year. We’ve already had one great wetland field trip and we’re getting ready to go on another to investigate what happens to a boreal forest after a forest fire. We are learning about what a boreal forest is, what animals live there, what are the stages of this type of forest, and of course, what happens when disaster strikes.
