My First Wordle!
March 25th, 2010
Mr. Daniels’ Class went to the Kenai National Wildlife Refuge for a winter survival field trip. We wanted to investigate how animals survive the cold Alaskan winters. What do they eat? What adaptations help them? Do they move around or stay in one place. We answered these questions and more as we enjoyed a day out of class to learn in the field. Enjoy these photos or our trip!
Hey kids you have to try this! Get a piece of text that you want to turn into a Wordle Cloud. Go to the wordle site and paste it in the text area. Then change it the way you want. Copy and paste the word cloud into your blog! Let others comment on your word cloud and guess what kind of writing you chose!
Thanks to the students at Alaska Christian College and Mrs. Hamilton for coordinating our Alaska Native dancing demonstration in the gym. Here are some photos.
I made my first Glog today! I think I will have the kids make one sometime too. It’s like a digital poster with no limits. Here is a simple and quick one I made to see how it works. You have to use the scroll bar at the bottom to see the whole Glog. Click on the border to view the whole glog on Edu.Glogster.
